COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial India Black Stout. This is a complete RTD Black and Tan. Not just any Black and Tan but the one where we flawlessly mixed a flippant good Imperial IPA with a profoundly evil Imperial Stout and sustained sweet beer balance. 33% Stout and 67% IPA.

(Bottle). Delightfully floral hop aroma with hints of sweet tropical fruits and rosted malt. Sweet taste with clearly fruity notes, roasted malt, hops and some salt licorice. Distinct bitterness in the aftertaste where unfortunately bitter taste from the alcohol emerges too much in the taste.

On tap @ legnano brauhaus. Marrone scuro, velato, schiuma beige fine mediamente persistente.Aroma tostato, di cioccolato fondente, fruttato, di frutta secca (nocciola). Corposa, decisamente carbonata, astringente, calda, di grande equilibrio ed armonica.

Bottle 355ml. Appearance: Black body with a small beige foamy head. Leaving no lacing Aroma:Roasted malt, Liquorice and citrus hops. Taste: Moderate sweet up front Roasted malts, only some citrus hops, Liquoice. Liquorice tones carchoal and lauris nobilis in the aftertaste. and aroma of roasted malt & citrus hoppy. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation. Starts but good, but the IPA tones are to far pushed back and the stout part is only ok.

Decent brew, like most of this brewery. I’m a fan of "Black IPA" mostly, and this one is a decent beer in that style for sure.

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.com. Wow. Have not tried the original two beers yet but this is truly a taste to behold. Big bitter roasted malts hugging a razor-edged hoppy influence. Incredible.

Getting a lot more stout than IPA in the taste. To be honest I get a lot more quad’ than stout in the aromas (boiled sweets). Can’t find a label that fits for this beer but it’s interesting. Palate is very velvety and laaaaaasting bitterness !
