English Language Label: This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or enjoy this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo).

0.33 bottle. Black color and a large, brownish head. Aroma of dark malts, roast, butter, delicate fruits. Taste is malty, smoky, sweet, roasted, some prunes. A medium body, an oily texture, and a lively carbonation. Finish is more smoky, tobacco shines through, wood, definitely a lot of roast, once again some fruits. Overall not a bad beer though its carbonation spoils the experience somewhat.

Opaque black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and hint of coffee, only a hint of booze. Some vanilla notes in the flavor. Full body, creamy. Nice.

Decent but modest dark beige head and black body. Aroma of oily hops mixed with motor oil, some molasses, it’s gonna kick me in the pants and I likes that. Flavour is heavy fusels, licorice, molasses, heavy hop oil. Damn my Datsun needs an engine flush. Harsh vibes on the back end. A good potent brew but it isn’t playing a symphony but more of a punk rock show and my ears kinda hurt. Sampled at 10.4 celcius.

Pitch black with a tan head. Aroma contains some strong coffee and licorice. The flavor is actually well balanced with some dark chocolate, coffee, and licorice. The alcohol is hidden well. Really good beer.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, mocha, coffee, espresso, liquorice, light creamy notes. Flavour is above medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitter finish. Body is full. Lovely smooth roasty chococolate coffee liquorice Stout, big sweet flavour. Great!

Aroma is solid choclates and roasted malt, no surprise there. It also carries a red berry sensation underneath that was a bit surprising. Taste is sweet and thick with a tad of soy sauce in the roasted malts. A slight fruityness lingers and the aftertaste is long and bitter. A solid impy with small surprises in the experience that makes it more interesting than "just another stout".

Bottle - Dark roast and some molasses with cocoa. Jet black with a nice rich light brown head. Dark sweet chocolate and nice roast, with a dry bitter finish. Lots of nice dark notes and a great example of the style.
