COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English Language Label: This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or enjoy this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo).

Draught at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa. Black, with a fine, lovely head. Nose of licorice, chocolate, mint, pine. Nice but a bit faint. Big burnt chocolate and coffee flavor, with cream, big bitterness, with citrus and berries. Nice full body, clean finish.

Tap @ 1702 and bottle from Whole Foods. Deep brown pour with a short brown head leaving light lace. Nose is chocolate, licorice, molasses and soy. Body is medium-heavy and carbonation is moderate and fine. Dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and some molasses. Finish is bitter, umami and slightly sweet with a coffee aftertaste. Mouth feel is not quite as heavy or oily as some Imperial stouts (e.g. Nogne and World Wide Stout). As a cocktail, the Yin and Yang is very good, I can only imagine how good it would be with the Yang fresh and close to the source.

Keg at CASK. Brown tinged deep black with a coffee crema, coffee and port and fruitcake nose, liquorice and treacle toffee palate, dry woody finish. Delicious?

I Drunk the first stout two months ago and my first impression was a little bit bad (I do not remember what I have drunk) "this must be more alcoholic" I said that time and right now we did: EvilTwin Yin! It’s strong, Dark and with a "WTF" Smell browse on your tounge like a little fire! Drink it slow and eat a good quality chocolate! You can’t forget this!

Pours an obsidian color with dark brown head. Nice aroma of coffee, berries, and overall dark roasted nose. Full, rich mouthfeel...flavors of coffee, bitter chocolate, berries. Nice bitterness from the hops as well. Great example of the style.
