Served on-tap at Pickles Pub in Ocean City, MD during a recent visit.

A - Pours hazy amber orange with a creamy one finger tall white head leaving light rings of lacing down the glass.

S - Smells of lightly toasted caramel malt, muted grassy hops, biscuity yeast, and a touch of dryness. I was expecting a bit more hops in this one.

T - Starts off with some toasted caramel malt sweetness slowly giving way to a mix of dulled grassy hops and chewy yeast. Finish is a touch dry with some lingering hop bitterness. Pretty good but I was really expecting more hops.

M - Medium-light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Light feel with a mix of dryness and bitterness in the finish.

O - Not bad but it never really blew me away. It was easy drinking but I am not sure if it was an old keg or not but it could have used a bit more hops.

Interesting taste. Has a sort of mild odd fruit taste which was surprising. Carbed body, but bitter on the after taste. Didnít even finish it

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a hazy amber body, one finger white foamy head. Some carbonation is seen rising. The smell had light caramel/fruity tones coming forth in front of light hops, malts are slightly there. The taste was sweet yet bitter between previously mentioned flavors, fruity aftertaste, slight malty finish. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation is spot on. Overall, I say good for the style and good for me, Id have again if looking for an ESB in the DE area.

Amber pour with minimal head. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts, and citrus. Caramel sweet flavor with toasted malt and nuts. Not bad.

Malty and citric aromas, dry, vinegar smell like hangover beer. Tastes so much better than it smells: light body, smooth, malty and roasty, but not sickening. Pretty decent after all, but not special in any means.

Grapey aromas, some slight toast, mild cardboard. Clear ruby with a lasting white foam ring. Fruity, some chocolate, finishes bready with earthy hops. Light bodied, clean.

Bottle. Nose sweet and very fruity, lightly citric; an outdoorsy, nutty strain right through the middle thatís even slightly dank. Pours amber and brown with slow carbonation and a tight, dense beige head. Taste sweet with strong sharp fruitiness and even a little tang, very nice biscuit in the main with little touches of toast and leaf, herb and wood. Seemingly crystal malt. Bright and fresh with a medium body and heavy re-drinkability, screams "English!" in flavor and aroma and even pub-feel to some extent. Way too sweet for sessioning, though I applaud the way it conceals its true strength to even make than an option. Iíll be returning to this one now and then.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is fruity and slightly sweet with some caramel and toasty malt. Some light fruity and floral hops as well. The flavor is not quite as smooth as I was hoping for. The malt is a little too husky and grainy, especially on the finish. Decent hopping level with just the right amount of bitterness for the style. Light to medium bodied with a rather rough texture and fizzy prickly carbonation. A little too brash and rough in the malt bill for my tastes.
