2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Mild fruity aroma, pours a hazy amber-brown with a thin off white head. Thereís a hint of apple in the flavor, with very little in the way of hop bitterness. Thereís an off taste that I canít really place, which lingers for the finish. Iím not really impressed with this offering.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nose sweet and very fruity, lightly citric; an outdoorsy, nutty strain right through the middle thatís even slightly dank. Pours amber and brown with slow carbonation and a tight, dense beige head. Taste sweet with strong sharp fruitiness and even a little tang, very nice biscuit in the main with little touches of toast and leaf, herb and wood. Seemingly crystal malt. Bright and fresh with a medium body and heavy re-drinkability, screams "English!" in flavor and aroma and even pub-feel to some extent. Way too sweet for sessioning, though I applaud the way it conceals its true strength to even make than an option. Iíll be returning to this one now and then.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is fruity and slightly sweet with some caramel and toasty malt. Some light fruity and floral hops as well. The flavor is not quite as smooth as I was hoping for. The malt is a little too husky and grainy, especially on the finish. Decent hopping level with just the right amount of bitterness for the style. Light to medium bodied with a rather rough texture and fizzy prickly carbonation. A little too brash and rough in the malt bill for my tastes.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Poured deep amber with a medium-sized light tan head. Aroma and flavor were quite malty, bready, lots of cherry and apricot, particularly as it opens. Medium hop presence -- some citrus and some earthy, spicy English hops notes.

Pours a copper-amber color with a thin head. Aroma is malty sweet with a touch of cascade-floral hops. Flavor is deep. Very well balanced with cereal malt sweetness and dry floral hops on the back-end. Pretty good.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep bronze colored beer with a thick off white head. Nose of slight floral hops with a hint of citrus, but overall the aroma is pretty tame. Mild citrus flavors initially that give way to a slight bitterness, but the hop characteristics are anything but complex. This is pretty mild for a bitter. Decent and drinkable, but not memorable.
