COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lot #6 Double ipa: think of this as our Lot #3 on performance-enhancing malt and hops. 8.5%abv, and all kinds of tropical fruit and citrus notes. Tommy got very nervous when he saw all the hops going into this one. 18.5°

Tons of crystal malt in the backbone. Aggressive hop presence in the mouth. Well defined apples and oranges in the nose with some malty sweetness. Very well balanced. Big bitterness in the mouth through the finish. Heavy and balanced. Malt accented, very enjoyable IIPA.

Serving: On tap at Fireworks. It pours a deep gold color with a small, off-white head. The nose is lighter than expected with lots of herbal hop notes. The flavor has a good bit of sweetness with lots of herbals. It’s medium bodied with higher carbonation leading to a sweet then dry finish. Rather tasty.

Pours clear lt amber/gold with a medium white head. Aroma has pear and tropical fruits. Flavor has lots of stonefruits and pear...a touch of caramel malt...some kiwi. Mouthfeel is medium/full and a bit syrupy with a dry stonefruit/pine bitter finish. Interesting hoppy notes!

A pretty good, albeit not particularly unique double IPA. Very bitter, though with a good, sweet, malty base.

Hazy orange body, medium sized off-white head, spotty lacing. Dank pine, resin, and light tropical fruits. underlying caramel malts are a bit too assertive. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation, some residual sweetness in the finish, assertive bitterness.

Pours hazy orangish color with off white head. Aromas of grapefruit rind and caramel. Moderately bitter grapefruit rind flavor with a touch of maltiness. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation.

Pours an amber copper color with a white head. Aroma of pine, grass, and citrus. Lots of pine flavor with hint of grapefruit, and some caramel. Overall, a nice beer. Well-balanced.

Growler shared by sloth, poured a full orangey amber color with a white-ish colored head, a large one at that. The aroma was piney resinous hops with some citrus too. The flavor followed, citrus the feature with orangey notes, some pine resin, and a caramel-like sweetness underneath. Lively hop zing, decent stuff. The mouthfeel was moderate to full for the style and far from syrupy or sticky - a nice job by EVB.
