3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap. Half-finger white creamy head, lightly hazy coppery orange. Lots of tropical fruit in the aroma from the hops, light grapefruit and slight sweetness as well. Quite bitter, but very fruity with tropical and stone fruit with a lingering hop burn, fairly balanced. Medium to thicker body with tiny bubbly carbonation. Pretty tasty.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a nice double IPA that poured very thick and laced the glass well on every sip. The color was a deep copper and the aroma was of acidity and hops. The taste was sweet and a good blend of hop flavors.

355 mL bottle. This one looks, smells, and tastes like a texbook double IPa. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Stateline during the HopHead Tasting... Pours a glowing orange.. decent head. Good aroma of piney notes and fruity citrus. Taste is great... Piney, grassy, fruity but well balanced. Not a trace of the high alcohol content. Easy to drink, smooth. Good DIPA, that I wish they bottled.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Moriartys. Clear dark orange copper pour with a large foamy head that left some runny lace (at the start at least.) Strong citrus pith flavors that mostly overpower some medium red fruits. Charred tangelo peels. Apple seeds. Blood oranges. Dragonfruit. Wildflower honey. Kumquots. Molasses. Pecans. Dandilions. Apricots. Pepper. In balance quite bitter. Not a bad thing. But interesting how clearly hopped up it is without needing extra sugar to finish it (i.e. Dogfish Head 120.) Could be a challenge for non-hop heads (like myself) but I can still appreciate the work involved. This is actually the best I have had out of Evolution.

On tap @ Lures, Crownsville Md-Clear golden color w/no head. Flavors of grapefruit & hops. Had some citrus as well w/some lingering sweetness. Good malt balance make this one drinkable for me, not a hop bomb. Good solid IPA, alcohol was well hidden.
