COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lot #6 Double ipa: think of this as our Lot #3 on performance-enhancing malt and hops. 8.5%abv, and all kinds of tropical fruit and citrus notes. Tommy got very nervous when he saw all the hops going into this one. 18.5°

On tap at the brewery as a taster and then in a growler. The beer pours an amber and has a strong hops taste. The beer is a strong beer and is your classic Double IPA. ---Rated by E. Rhodes via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and some tropical fruitiness, grapefruit - some piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and light tropical fruitiness, piney - light grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light tropical fruitiness with lots of piney - light grapefruit hoppyness, faint alcohol. Really well hopped IIPA. Could be little bit drier with less caramel.

Hazy amber/orange appearance with an average size, off white head and a fair amount of lacing. Straight up hop aroma of tropical fruit and a bit of resin. Deliciously out-of-balance taste dominated by the piney, fruity hops. The modest sweetness provided by the caramel malts only make a minor dent. Alcohol becomes more pronounced in the aftertaste. Full bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel leading to a lingering finish.

From the tap the pour is cloudy with an burnt orange color, the aroma is fruit hops and almost a lychee hint, the taste is sharp sweet with a strong carbonation forward presence and good hop balance, the finish is a fruity and sweet.

Pours cloudy copper color with thick off white head. That hold form well above the rim of the glass. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. Caramel malt start with citrus and some fruity notes finishing with pine resin bitterness.

Aroma of citrus and dried fruit, pours a caramel color with a lasting white well laced head. Medium body oily slightly dry feel with a balanced taste of dried fruit with a hint of citrus and a slightly dry bitter finish.

On tap, hazy copper hue with thick white creamy head, some lacing, pine and caramel malt dominate what was slightly underwhelming, medium body resin with some sweetness at the end, maybe a slight bit of citrus, balanced and drinkable but nothing really stood out
