Clear amber with a generous off-white, almost orange, long-lasting head and moderate lace. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerines, tobacco and mint with toasted bread in the background. Flavors are similar, featuring the toasted malt which supports the citrus hop highlights. Medium body, oily slickness on the palate, medium carbonation and a clean hoppy finish.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2014 Bottle into pint glass. Hazy orange-amber color with off-white head. Aroma of citrus/piney hops, caramel malt, somewhat floral and toasty. Taste makes the hops lean more resin and grapefruit/mango/pineapple citrus, nice balance with the caramel malt, somewhat herbal, kind of a biscuit note. Medium body, low carbonation, hoppy yet flavorful, smooth, dry, oily with bitter finish. The piney/tropical hops battle it out well, good offering from Evolution.

355 mL bottle. Copper-orange, with a small but sticky off-white head. Lovely multi-dimensional hop aroma starts with resin, but finishes with floral and sweet citrus notes. It just smells like something I want to drink. And, it tastes like something I want to drink. The hops bring rose petals, mandarine orange, and orange popsicle to the flavour, and the malt makes its presence felt without adding too much sweetness. Not a lot of bitterness in the finish, but that really just makes this one more drinkable. Nice beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is resiny citrus, sweeter orange and caramel, lightly toasted. The flavor is resiny, sticky citrus, earthy, toasted caramel, with a moderate bitterness to the finish.

[Dry-hopped firkin] Amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits, caramel malts, floral hops, grass, citrus fruits, and some toasted notes. Taste of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, toast, light caramel, and a hoppy finish.

On tap at KC's Alley in Ambler, PA. Almost painfully average. Can't think of anything notable to say.

This is a great IPA! Get it when you have the chance. I found a sixer of this at the Wegman’s at Collegeville. They also have the DIPA, which, now, I can’t wait to try. But back to the No 3. It pours a light copper color with a decent-sized off-white head. The head leaves some nice and sticky lacing around the glass. The nose is a well-balanced profile of caramel malt and flowery hops. The flavors start out that way, but about halfway through, turn toal hops. The hops aren’t completely dry and spicy though. I get a lot of tropical fruit, herbs, lemon, orange and grass. The beer finishes really well-balanced, with notes of bread, caramel, yeast, grass, pine and fruit. Excellent IPA!

A good IPA for the summer. Very enjoyable, but not my favorite or go-to beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber/orange with a finger of frothy off white head. Aroma of strong citrus fruits. Lemon, pineapple, grapefruit, and some buttery biscuit. Taste is also mostly citrus. Lots of grapefruit, pine, some grass, balanced by a nice malt backbone.
