This American style IPA is agressively hopped at a rate of over 2lbs. per barrel. Big notes of citrus and pine compliment a reserved but firm malt backbone.

On tap Union Jacks (north hills). Nicely balanced big and bold IPA with good combination of fresh hop flavors and well pronounced bitterness. Body was just a bit sweet for me, but overall Iíve really like the beers that Evolution has been producing.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours slightly hazy amber-orange. Two finger off white head, nice lacing and retention. Aroma of grapefruit and herbs. Taste is invitingly bitter with a nice caramel malty backbone. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, resin mouth feel. Finishes bittersweet. Tasting notes of grapefruit, lite spruce, grass, lemon zest and a little salt. A very nice, solid IPA.
