Fantastic, in yo face IPA! Very nice, clean finish. Nicely unbalanced (heavy duty hop character). What an IPA should be.

4.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Citrus and Pine notes appeal to the senseís on this one. Has plenty of hop character for the hop heads out there. I believe that Delaware has put its self on the map with this one. I keep it on tap on a regular. I love the nice foamy nutty head and the great lacing it leaves in the glass. I say if you have not yet tried this IPA that you hurry out and put your hands on it as soon as possible.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Lightly hazy orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste moderate to heavy malty, lovely hoppyness, plenty of tropical fruit influence, eosin, pine and a lovely bitterness. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Very nice!

Just had my first one on draft at Bethany Blues in Lewes. Goes down so smooth, I prefer Dogfish 60 or 90, but wanted to try this one. I will get it again sometime, itís great.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Reviewed 12/08/2012. 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A: Pours a vaguely cloudy copper color. The head is a two finger offwhite color with the excellent texturing i expect from a good IPA. Lacing is patchy but somewhat consistent.
S: Iím really liking the variety of hops this provides. Not only does it feature both pink grapefruit and mango from citrusy hops, thereís also a spicy pepper note from piny hops. Malts are generally neutral.
T: Much like the aroma, this IPA hits a nice middle ground between citrus and pine flavors. An initial hint of vague malt sweetness is washed away by a midtaste of melon rind and grapefruit, before finishing with spicy pine notes. This might be one of the most complex IPAs Iíve ever had before, successfully pulling out a melange of various hop flavors (alongside light maltiness) at differing points in the flavor progression. The fact it manages to fuse this subtle complexity with high drinkability is just gravy.
M: The texture is never too heavy or too light on the palate. It is, however, a hair too sharp, especially near the finish. Carbonation is just right.
O: This really needs more love. The IPA I think this is closest to in terms of its flavor profile is FW Union Jack - and thatís mighty high praise. Maybe Iím a homer and I just like it because itís both inexpensive and one of the few craft offerings so readily available in my area...nah, this is just an excellent IPA.

This is a great IPA! Get it when you have the chance. I found a sixer of this at the Wegmanís at Collegeville. They also have the DIPA, which, now, I canít wait to try. But back to the No 3. It pours a light copper color with a decent-sized off-white head. The head leaves some nice and sticky lacing around the glass. The nose is a well-balanced profile of caramel malt and flowery hops. The flavors start out that way, but about halfway through, turn toal hops. The hops arenít completely dry and spicy though. I get a lot of tropical fruit, herbs, lemon, orange and grass. The beer finishes really well-balanced, with notes of bread, caramel, yeast, grass, pine and fruit. Excellent IPA!
