3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium copper orange with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that did have great retention, finally reducing to a large cap with some fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a light straw malt, pine and citrus hops and a sweet earthy yeast with notes of citrus (grapefruit) and caramel.
The taste was bitter sweet and mildly malty with hints of caramel and citrus from the start, with the finish having a nice hoppy pine ending. The flavor stuck around for an average duration after the swallow with a mild bitterness that faded slowly.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry oily texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall an IPA that had a nice malty feel to it, which did a great job of compensating for the bold and healthy hoppiness...

Pours a medium orange gold with off-white head. Lots of pine and citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice resinous hop bite.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 3 - London. Pours clear gold with a foam white head. Big dank hop nose with lots of urine, mango. Medium sweet flavor with lightly sugary pale malts, some oily pine, papaya and mango, more pissy hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely resinous on the finish with lots of juicy hops, more pee. Sublime.

Just had my first one on draft at Bethany Blues in Lewes. Goes down so smooth, I prefer Dogfish 60 or 90, but wanted to try this one. I will get it again sometime, itís great.

Had this on draft in Norfolk, and itís super good. Massive just massive amounts of pine and citrus. Like drinking fresh grapefruit juice. As it warms up, the citrus turns into a candied fruit, tropical juice taste. Really surprised by this, Iím glad I tried it!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Pours a clear amber/orange with a fairly big, creamy head and some lacing. Aromas of pine, then citrus, mostly orange. Juicy beer with the aromas continuing through the taste, some sweetness ending with a bitter finish. Good IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Total Wine in Jensen Beach. Orangey pour with an off-white head leaving a lot of nice lace. Aroma has big juicy fruity hops, with a solid tangy pine component. Taste is of sweet fruits, tangy pine and some grapefruit, with a toffee backend. Medium bodied and a bit sticky. Finishes nicely bittersweet with a touch more bitter - very hoppy - and quite dry. A solid hoppy effort. Will be interested to see what the DIPA brings. 14.4

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear copper color with off white head. Aromas of caramel malt, pine, and some grapefruit. Sweet malt flavor with some pine and citrus. Medium body with average carbonation. Too malty for an IPA for me.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Rock solid American IPA, definitely in the top tier of mid-Atlantic IPAís without question. Pours an unfiltered copper/amber with a rocky off-white head. Beautiful proper IPA aroma that actually jumps out at you: tropical fruit, pine, grapefruit and orange peel. The flavor matches the aroma notes along with a solid malt backbone and a tinge of caramel but thankfully not too much. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Great example of an American IPA. Put a fresh bottle of this beer up against other IPAís and youíll be surprised how much it will dominate other offerings in the hop vibrancy department. A definite go-to IPA.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured 12 oz bottle an amber color with a small, dense, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Aroma of hops, crystal malt, pine, citrus, light grapefruit, slight earth and wet field grass. Flavour of fresh bitter citrus and earthy pine needles round with just a touch a underlying toasted malt. Surprisingly good IPA beer. Discovered while visiting the In-Laws in Baltimore.
