COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re aging some Lucky 7 on some sticky, gooey, aromatic Madagascar vanilla beans that Wes sliced up and threw into a tank ("all willy-nilly" was the technique that was employed, I believe). A couple kegs will hit the tasting room, and a few more will head out to some upcoming local festivals.

Had this one in a snifter at Evo’s restauraunt, it was actually infused with vanilla bean and cocoa nibs. It was very pungent in flavor with a heavy chocolate taste. Delicious and has a nice warmth as it goes down.

Cask at Frisco Grill: Pours a mostly opaque dark mahogany with a spotty-lacing covering of light tan head. Has a sweet toasty caramel and vanilla nose with some nutty notes. Starts with average fullness and good dark malty sweetness with a nice balance of vanilla complexity and bittering hops before a semi-sweet finish. An enjoyable porter.

Cask at Churchkey. Huge vanilla nose! I could smell this all day and this beer could provide that... The low carb brought out a well balanced porter under a vanilla bomb. Flavor notes of, well... vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Some toast that stood up with the sweetness. Finish is vanilla ice cream and very smooth. Delicious

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2009 On tap @ the Brewery-Black, cola like pour w/a slight tan head. Vanilla/Coffee aroma. Very smooth easy to drink porter, vanilla flavor tempers out the standard coffee overtones. Has a bit of carbonation to it, may have just been the tap. Kind of reminds you of drinking an ice cream soda, but not that sweet. Very enjoyable, long full finish.
