Pours a hazy deep reddish brown with a smaller off white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt and light citrus notes. Flavor of toasted malt, peanuts, caramel and hints of toffee. Light citrus hop notes.

At brewpub. Pours a dark amber color with aroma of fruit, caramel, and biscuit. Sweet flavor with fruit caramel, and some biscuit to round out the flavor. Quite nice.

Draft at Whole Foods PM. Hazy ruby pour with off-white head. Earthy vinous fruit and caramel malt in the nose, with red winey caramel malt and some earthy hops in the finish.

Cask conditioned: pour is red w/out lacing or head. Taste is light, smooth, & drinkable but not a whole lot goin on. A touch of sweetness in the finish. Not bad.

Tap. Pours dark ruby with thin, fizzy off-white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is muted with notes of berries, cookie malt, floral hops, and woody notes. Flavor is sweet malt forward with dark berry esters and faint hops; sweet finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Flavor is malt forward with light hops and bitterness, moderate fruity esters and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.
