Not a bad APA from Delaware! I’d never heard of this brewer before I walked into Outlet Liquors in Rehoboth, but I’m glad I picked up a bottled of this. I was taken aback a bit when I emptied this pale into my glass, as it pured a crisp and clear golden color. The head wasn’t too impressive, as it dissappated very quickly, but it did leave a decent amount of lacing around the glass. The nose was somewhat odd, with a sharp and skunky spicy smell. Also included in the aroma was some lemongrass, yeast and light herbs. The body was extremely smooth and drinkable, though, as the flavors were very bitter, dry and spicy. I got a lot of grapefruit, oranges and lemon, along with some grass, hay and light earth. The finish is really dry and spicy as well. The total score I gave this beer isn’t really indictative of what this beer brings to the table, though. I really wouldn’t mind having a sixer of this on hand at any time.

Bottle. I am super confused by this being labeled as a pale. It is a Belgian single or I have never had a beer. And it is à good one. Deep mostly clear gold. Very nice aroma of orange and maybe light pine. That fruitiness continues into the flavor with coriander. Balanced. The body slick but light with big prickly carbonation.

Deep gold pour, white head. Very plain caramel malt nose with some spent grain and mild, dull hops. Flavor is more sweet than I expected. No hops to speak of. Very average...at best.

Crisp. Good lacing on thick foam head. Poured from bottle. Dry and slightly hopping. Refreshing. Not much character. A safe bet but nothing special.

On tap. Poured a hazy light orange with a creamy white head. Orange and vanilla on the nose. Thin body, unimpressive quick finish. Some strange metallic malt flavor going on.

Tap @ brewery. Pours clear gold with medium white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral hops, biscuit malt, light fruit, and faint spice. Flavor is malt forward, light esters, and dominate hops; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation, low warmth

Thanks to anggrec for this one. Pours nice enough, light amber with a thin head. The aroma is mild with bread and malts. The flavor is very much like a lager though. My least favorite of the few from Evolution.

12oz bottle via trade. Looks pretty nice, crystal clear golden with a one finger white head and good lacing. The aroma is decent, with bready malt, orange, mint, and pine. The flavor is strange however. A very pilsner-like malt base, which yields to a very strange hop note. There is some citrus and pine, but then there’s also a bizarre medicinal/minty flavor on the finish. It’s almost numbing on the alcohol, like rubbing alcohol, with medium body and good crispness despite the oddness. This is crapft beer night it seems. Didn’t like this much.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright orange with a short, easily-resuscitated off-white head. The aroma picked up caramel and biscuity malts with light citrus and floral hop accents.. simple and well-balanced. The flavor found biscuity and pale malts, with light peppery pine and a touch of citrus bitterness around.. dry and grainy on the edges.. some tanginess too, especially on the crisp, refreshing finish. Lighter-bodied and well-balanced on the palate.. clean feel with good transitions.. very good drinker.
