COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A caribbean stout infused with coffee. The caribbean style is synonymous with strong full bodied stouts. Ours is rich and dark with a toasted brown head, well balanced, roasty and full flavored. Cold steeping with an organic coffee, from Rise Up, imparts a generous but balanced coffee nose and flavor. 40 IBU’s 6.7% ABV

On draft at the High Spot in Cambridge. Pours thick and dark with small brown head. Aroma of earthy coffee and some sweet chocolate. Flavor follows with a creamy motuhfeel with prickly carbonation at the front. Sweet chocolate and bitter earth balance well. Medium to heavy mouthfeel. Very nice beer. Surprising from something out of Salisbury.

6 oz. pour at an Evolution Craft Brewing beer dinner in Old Line Wine's The Bistro in Beltsville, MD. Opaque, near black, with a tan head and very good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, roasted coffee, chocolate, more coffee and peat. Taste of heavily roasted malt, roasted coffee, toast, caramel, very dark roasted coffee and chocolate. Not sweet. Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours almost black with a large, tan head. The head fades down to a half inch and hangs there for a good bit. The nose has notes of cafe au lait, a slight nuttiness, earth, and perhaps a slight burnt notes. Those burnt notes come out on the back end in the taste. But first you get a green, hoppy, sweet coffee flavor. Reminds of Xingu in some ways. Lasting bitterness on the back end. Full bodied with an almost creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation that turns a little prickly at the end. Overall a very nice brew.

Tap. Nice cold filtered coffee aroma. Black, low head. Mellow, sparkly body, light citric tart, extremely coffeeish flavor, toasted bread. Medium to full body, slightly fizzy. Heavy coffee, but balanced and pleasant to drink.

Not a lot of aroma but huge on taste. Pours dark brown with tan head. Strong coffee taste that is mildly hoppy. Also has a hint of chocolate.

Pours jet black with a huge mocha head. Aroma of bitter coffee, hops and chocolate. Taste is bitter the coffee is strong and hops are present. This is a bit too much. A little overcarbonated as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
