COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A caribbean stout infused with coffee. The caribbean style is synonymous with strong full bodied stouts. Ours is rich and dark with a toasted brown head, well balanced, roasty and full flavored. Cold steeping with an organic coffee, from Rise Up, imparts a generous but balanced coffee nose and flavor. 40 IBU’s 6.7% ABV

Dark brown-black body, medium to thin tan head, sparse lacing. Strong roasted coffee notes, general earthiness, and light chocolate. Coffee is definitely the focus here. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, mild bitterness, and decent dryness in the finish.

Dark body summons tan head which disappears quickly, never to return.

Smells oxidized. Could use more body and less carb overall. Hearty coffee, oxy, prickly carb, nutty malts on the palate. Decent, I suppose, but I can buy Breakfast Stout locally and that sets the bar stupidly high.

12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. Pours pitch black with a finger of tan foam. Nose is strong coffee, almost vegetal and peppery. Taste is again, peppery coffee with the addition of some chocolate. Good, and strong coffee flavor, but not great. Medium bodied.

Probably my favorite coffee stout ever. The coffee flavor really shines through. Not overly bitter on the finish. Not a huge mouth feel, but the flavors are impeccable!

Pour is dark brown with a moderate amount of light brown head. Nose has a light roast and heavy coffee bean note. Clean but simple. Taste is a bit more roasted, stronger heavy roast coffee and bitterness towards the back. Faint chocolate and burnt caramel in the finish. Body is medium and creamy with strong carbonation.

This is a delicious, very coffee-flavored stout. Inky black appearance with a thick tan head. Thinnish body but overall excellent.

Pours tar black with an aroma of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla. Flavor of coffee, vanilla, anise, and roasted malt. Very nice beer.
