Summer Session ale is a light refreshing unfiltered ale brewed with Barley, Oats, Rye, and wheat for a subtle complexity. A reserved hop bitterness and aroma balance the lightly sweet grain character.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of stone fruitd, bread, toasted malts and a hoppy finish. The taste is toasted malts, dough, faint fruits and caramel, and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Refreshing.

appearance: cloudy gold, half a finger of foamy, creamy white head and minimal lacing. aroma: crackers, light grassy hops, hint of citrus. taste: toasted white bread, hint of honey, light citrus, floral hops. finish: crisp and lightly toasted, zesty palate, lingering citrus and pepper. notes: Liked this quite a bit. Felt like a terrific summer beer, frankly. Like a slightly beefier kolsch. Draught at World of Beer in Rockville, Maryland.

I think the barley and oats overscore the wheat content but they seem to match the hops pretty well to create a drinkable summer session? Seems more like a pale ale with the hops with some wheat thrown in. Screw styles, this isn’t bad for a session! If you want a wheat, this isn’t a good rep.

Pours light orange with a one finger head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, wheat, rye, light tropical fruits, and some grassy hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi bitter, medium finish. Overall,a decent, easy drinking wheat ale.

Tap at Birroteca, Baltimore. Light grassy fruity nose. Cloudy yellow, low white head. Bright citric entry, wellbalanced fresh grass bitterness. Sparkly medium body. Fresh, quite quaffable, kölsch-like

Opaque gold appearance with an average size, fast fading white head and modest lacing. Earthy aroma of course grains and sweet malts. Soft, sweet, wheaty flavor, discreetly hopped, with a mellow, rounded aftertaste. Light bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel leading to a short lived finish. Spot on for the style.

Sampled from a growler: Pours a clear bright pale golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty and wheaty nose with a touch of floral hops. Starts with a nice light malty sweetness and smooth hop bitterness before a drier clean finish. A very drinkable and refreshing summer beer. Nothing exceptional, but good for what it is.

Small white head thats short lived, decent lacing. Murky blond color. Nose of grassy hops and faint grainy malts. Body is light with a good carbonation, faintly oily on the palate but still crisp. Dry malt flavors are a bit toasty, biscuity with the rye giving a pleasent bit of spiciness. Light grassy and citrusy hop notes work well with the light and spicey malts. Dry finish, thin as expected. Not alot going on but an easy summer quaffer. Bottle from statelineliquors.
