3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into English pint glass, very dark brown with tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, slight dark fruit and smoke. Taste brings out prominent chocolate notes and some nuttiness. Medium body, light carbonation, dry with some lingering roast on the finish. Like the coffee aroma to chocolate taste transition, good porter.

Outstanding. It’s dark chocolate appearance. Smell is hard to identify. It’s not overwhelming, it’s refreshing as well. Nice finish. Great brew.

Dark and roasty malt. Caramel, toast, char. A bit of cocoa and some sweetness along with a smoky flavor. Lighter than a smoked malt, though. Smooth and long in the finish.
