Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and a bit of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and herbs, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

On tap. Medium hazy amber. with a small white head that doesnít last long. Sweet citrus and piney hops in the aroma. The taste has more malt than hops in it though. Earthy, dry and refreshing. Itís rather mild and watery though. Good example of the style. Itís not overly hopped for a pale ale though I still think itís a bit too watery for me.

A nice hoppy pale ale. It reminds almost of a two hearted light, though nothing really match two hearted. Light sweetness. Floral hops. Some tropical fruit. Nice and easy to drink.

Not a bad beer. Nothing terribly special. Some good citrus hop notes. Mildly sweet. Good middle of the road beer.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a dark golden color with a white head. The nose combines pine, floral, and citrus hops quite nicely. The taste furthers that, with a nice bitterness level and some citrus hops standing out. Good body and nice bitter balance. Drinks well--Iím looking forward to trying their other hoppy beers as well. Slightly cloudy copper coloured body with a thin one-centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bread, yeast, caramel and a touch of hops. Light-bodied; Effervescent, watery flavour at first with some pungent light malt and a touch of hops with no body at all, no depth and nothing really flavourful. Aftertaste is just as mild, showing some malt, water, cardboard and perhaps a touch of light hops - not really though. Overall, a pretty sub-standard beer with not much flavour and absolutely no complexity - especially for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 27-March-2011 sampled at home in Washington on 05-April-2011.

12oz bottle. Aroma of light malts with a little floral and light citrus notes. Flavor of light caramel, a little floral hops and some grapefruit. Average texture. A pretty good pale ale, but nothing special.
