Special 608 is a Belgian style amber ale brewed with wild flower honey, lemon peel, orange peel and coriander.

Tap at Max’s. Pours hazy copper with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, Belgian yeast, light candy sugar, floral notes, and faint toffee. Flavor is dry malt base, light hops, light fruit esters, and semisweet Belgian yeast esters; sweetness carries through the finish before drying out. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy brown.. Kind of murky. Minimal head. The aroma is a mix of caramel, belgian yeast, and honey. This is a sweet, malty brew that has a nice balance of caramel and honey.
