750 ml bottle: pours a clear bright golden with a clingy-lacing white head. Has a semi-sweet biscuity malty nose with good vinous oaky notes and some earthy funk. Starts with good fullness and fine effervescence with light malty sweetness well-balanced with tart vinous oak and brett complexity. Finishes drier and crisp with some lingering tartness. True to style and enjoyable.

750 mL bottle shared by/with Maryland friends, poured into a tasting glass. Fall 2012, Bottle 1377/1400. Pours a hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of Brett, funk, wine, sour fruit. Tasting notes of tart fruit, funk, Brett, yeast esters, stone fruit. Medium body with a crisp dry finish. Light to medium carbonation. Tasty and interesting, though I don’t think I could drink the whole bottle on my own in one sitting.

Draft at tjs. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. The aroma has a ton of funk, a woodiness, a fruitiness. The taste has some wildness to it. Funky, dry, plenty of the chardonnay barrel, a bit spicy.

On tap into snifter. Salisbury md Aroma: strong fruit. Grapes. Citrus, grapefruit. yeast. Appearance: cloudy orange/brown. Minimal head. Taste: sweet with a fruity finish. Palate: light medium body. Thin texture. Short finish. Overall: there is a lot to like about this beer. Aroma is great. The flavor and impact is a little weak for me.

750 ml bottles from Craft, Capone’s, and Whole Foods Plymouth Meeting, which states Fall 2012. Bottle 700/1400. Pours turbid orange like a new penny with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is lactic tart white wine grapes, earthy malt, hops, yeasty funk. Tastes fruity, tart, and funky, with yeasty esters, a mid-palate of tart white wine grapes, and finishing yeast and tartness. Lively carbonation, and a smooth finish. This one is stellar.
