UPDATED: OCT 8, 2009 Can suggests made by emb 54 115d which seems to be German rather than Blackburn.Either way a very tasteful refreshing lager which I initally thought was rebranded Carling.

Can - the most tasteless beer I’ve ever experienced. Pours golden with a fluffy, clean white head. Good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of malts and nothing. Taste of malty, lightly spicy and more nothing. Medium body, strong carbonation. I could drink a glass of sparkling water and barely tell the difference - I don’t believe this beer has seen a hop in its life.

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, light grass. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, malty, fruity, thin. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20130814]

Can. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are soapy with biscuit malts and hints of metal. Grain with some light lemon. Flavours are sweet grain with soda water and soap. Tastes like a non alcohol beer. Not great.

Cheapie from Lidl- on the menu now they’re selling individual cans. Bright pour with an uneven, foaming head. Attractive aroma with notes of Asti Spumante, lemon sherbet, white flour and grass. Somewhat corn-fed, lemony flavour with light Germanic grassy hop and honey notes. Slightly slimy but for a budget tinned supermarket lager, very decent.

Reminds me a bit of Oranjeboom, nice appearance and aroma with a slightly fruity taste
