Cask (Market Porter, London)
Orange, tiny head. Dusty aroma. A bit watery. Clear light hopping and apple juice. Quite sweet. Fills out a bit as you go down the glass. Decent session, not very exciting.

Cask at the Red Lion, Axminster, Devon, 11-11-06. This amber coloured beer was unfortunately a little bit past it’s best, tired and drab, a bit fruiy and bitter and even allowing for not being served in tip top condition I’m not sure that I would have been overly impressed with this.

Cask (gravity dispense), Battersea Beer Festival. A rather plain, amber coloured session bitter. Dull, slightly fusty, dry malt flavour. More fruity (but not very fruity) than hoppy. Quite dull all round really, without being actively unpleasant..

Cask@Battersea Beer Festival. Rubber, wood, odd earthy notes in the aroma, kinda like cow dung or something. Otherwise there is nothing going on in here, possibly one of the most boring bitters i’ve tried.

Cask gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. Copper colour with white head. Woody/rubbery aroma and a bit of apple. Quite a nice fruity finish with dry dusty hops.
