2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Nuffield (3090) - Roseville, USA - JUL 24, 2003
There's not much going on here. Slightly hazy amber, a bit of tingle from carbonation but a very watery palate. The aroma is nice enough, woody, caramel malts, though no obvious influence from the hops. The flavor finishes very quickly, except for a lingering hint of summer fruits--apple is most apparent (is apple an autumn fruit?). Oh so slight. Not much to grab ahold of, much less like. (on tap, Hobgoblin, Oxford)
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 altonbrownd (3611) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 6, 2009
Cask at Market Porter. Amber body with medium head. Fruity and hoppy nose. Sweet tasting, of fruits. Okay. More hops in the finish.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 FatPhil (6210) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 15, 2008
Cask (Market Porter, London)
Orange, tiny head. Dusty aroma. A bit watery. Clear light hopping and apple juice. Quite sweet. Fills out a bit as you go down the glass. Decent session, not very exciting.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2006
Cask at the Red Lion, Axminster, Devon, 11-11-06. This amber coloured beer was unfortunately a little bit past it’s best, tired and drab, a bit fruiy and bitter and even allowing for not being served in tip top condition I’m not sure that I would have been overly impressed with this.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2006
Cask (gravity dispense), Battersea Beer Festival. A rather plain, amber coloured session bitter. Dull, slightly fusty, dry malt flavour. More fruity (but not very fruity) than hoppy. Quite dull all round really, without being actively unpleasant..
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2006
Cask@Battersea Beer Festival. Rubber, wood, odd earthy notes in the aroma, kinda like cow dung or something. Otherwise there is nothing going on in here, possibly one of the most boring bitters i’ve tried.

Cask gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. Copper colour with white head. Woody/rubbery aroma and a bit of apple. Quite a nice fruity finish with dry dusty hops.
