Cask@Battersea Beer Festival. NOt that good, grainy, thin mouthfeel, watery and sweet, hard to wrte too much on it, this was a little weak.

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby Spoons Canterbury. Light brown thin beige head. Some biscuit some fruit salad. Some vague hop dryness on finish. Ok but a dullish bitter. The biscuit is quite nice

Malty aroma followed by a malty and bitter taste. Not a great texture and flat looking.

ALLOVATE (1719) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - OCT 20, 2011
Cask, handpump @ The Powder Monkey, Exmouth, Devon.
Holds and retains a loose, sudsy snow-white crown atop a bright, sunny medium gold body. Very, very faint candied citrus and grainy malt nose. Watery, thin, light acetaldehyde showing and husky, plastic flavours. Mild malt glimmer mid-palate with a tangy, citrussy backend. Swallow is has more fruit esters and hints of pinewood and pot pourri. Not in best form (?), but not undrinkable. Actually gets better as the pint empties!

Unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, apple, medicine notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090803]

Half, well kept on cask at The Castle, Holborn. A few floaters on top of a hazy, amber body. Grassy hops to the nose. The taste character is all about resinous and leafy hops. Some grainy notes, too. Satisfying bitter endnotes (London, 03.08.2009).

(Cask, The Castle) A bit hazy amber color, small white head. Nutty, grassy aroma. Grassy, woody hoppy flavor. Slightly tart, the end of keg. Still drinkable.

Cask. Gravity. Clear, orange appearance. Quite a sweet scent with toffee and some orange. Slightly sickly with a sticky mouthfeel. A bit thin. Slightly carbonated . Very bitter with a dry end after a sweet start. In the mouth, oranges, some straw, mown grass and roast peanut. Well balanced and quite nice.
