Cask@GBBF2011. Deep amber colour, small off-white bubbly head. Aroma is fruits, mild earthy notes as well as some slight bitter wooden notes. Flavour is bittery fruits, wood and some herbal notes along with mild caramel malts.

Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. its got a bit of orange fruit. Some drying hop. Some marmalade. Its ok. Marmalade flavour is pleasant.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 4/8/2012. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Sweet, caramel and berry fruit aroma with a sightly tart edge. Flavour was also sweet and bready, with a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Copper to brown with no head. Quite flat and lifeless on the palate, very cold, slightly tart, fruity and surprisingly thin. Not good.

Cask @ Society Room, JDW. Hazy copper colour, off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, light fruity, bit of vegetables. Flavour is caramel malts, little citrus, slight stickyness. Fairly dry finish.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart apples, sour malt fruity. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20110803]

Pungent fruity hops. Simple bitter. Slick palate, peachy. Hoppy taste, yes, but I find it boring. Not so ’ESB’ or premium - just a bitter.
