Cask at JDW in Surbiton. Enoyable fruity aroma. Surprisingly sweet and malty, with a fruity finish that can come through a touch tart and acidic. Not great.

Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. Dark amber with a ring of white head; malty aroma; caramel malt flavour with some sour fruit; and a biscuity finish. Nothing special about this.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Copper to brown with no head. Quite flat and lifeless on the palate, very cold, slightly tart, fruity and surprisingly thin. Not good.

Cask at the Sir Michael Balcon (JDW), Ealing. Brown with very little head. Initially sweet palate with a touch of currant, but then woody and a bit tart.

Cask @ Society Room, JDW. Hazy copper colour, off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, light fruity, bit of vegetables. Flavour is caramel malts, little citrus, slight stickyness. Fairly dry finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart apples, sour malt fruity. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20110803]

On tap at GBBF ’11. A mix of flavours: vine, tobacco, sweet malt. OK. Warmish mouthfeel. Reasonable.

Cask (GBBF2011, Wed)
Pungent fruity hops. Simple bitter. Slick palate, peachy. Hoppy taste, yes, but I find it boring. Not so ’ESB’ or premium - just a bitter.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours amber with a off white head. Straw, berries and benzin. Sweet and thin. Short end.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Wednesday. Clear red/amber - white head. Red berries, tea, fruity, nutty, light candy, bitterness, sweetness, sofy body, ok fruity hoppy.
