Malty, with a touch of sweetness (as for many of the Exe Valley beers), but with some solid underlying bitterness. Clean and dry finish. Again, as with other Exe Valley beers I’ve tried, I found this solid, but unspectacular. Slipped down easily though. Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival.
