Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Gold with only slight head. This was quite perfumed on the initial taste, burnt cracker note in the body, flowery fruity, passion fruit type note or even fruit cocktail. A touch over sweet, a bit of a mixed bag.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Alice BS. Hazy golden with a small, rough white head that dissipates completely. A dry, fresh fruitiness in the nose with a whiff of citrus. Light in body, completely flat, citrus notes and a dry lightly hopped finish. But fairly fresh and drinkable. 051011

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 28, 2010
bottle from Topsham Wines (08/2010). Hazy pale strawy colour, mid-sized white head. Spicy citrusy nose. Light-bodied, malty, with lots of citrus flavours and aromatic hops. Hints of spices such as coriander and clove. It strongly reminds me of a (good) Dutch or Belgian blonde ale with some witbier character. A beautiful, light summer beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2009
A Mes rate. Cask handpull at the Market Porter. Clean pale gold with no head. Rather harsh and raw. Feels a little under brewed. Floral and very fruity. Oddly sweet. Interesting but nothing I could get excited about.
