An easy session beer and nice but nothing to shout home about. Nutty brown colour and taste.

Deep golden ale with a thin but crisply drinkable texture. Some fruit aromas but little of this is to be found in its taste.

Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’12. Brown with white head. Dry, malty bitter with an earthy back-note and twiggy type hop. Lasting bitterness on the palate but not overly exciting. It’s ok.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Alice BS. Pours a hazy nutty brown with a small, rough off-white head. Subtle roasty aroma with a little licorice. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet roast and some ddried dark fruits. Somewhat minerally. Distinct bitterness in the finish. Closer to a Mild than to a Bitter I’d say. 051011

Bottle at Craig’s house. earthy, amber, hazy, medium bitterness, light body, sticky, average carbonation.

bottle at home .. with stephen ... copper ... thin white head ... soft lightly smokey woody nose ... soft dark berry fruits .. little woody malt ... hint of toffee ... juicy fruits ... decent enough

Cask gravity at Ashford Rugby Club BF 2010. Proper brown bitter colour with thin beige head. It’s a slightly earthy toffeeish brown bitter. Same as 100 others. Earthy, touch of mud on the swallow.

Bottle. Bronze with no head and hardly any carbonation. Lovely fruitiness with some maltiness also present.The third beer i have rated from this brewery and easily the best.

bottle from Sidmouth Wines (08/2010). Amber colour, smal head. Malty-grainy nose. Malty and grainy, wholemeal-bread flavours, biscuits. Shy hoppy finish.

Cask Handpump at the Fat Cat, Sheffield 16/01/2010 Floral malt aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with some alcohol present. A little dryness in a crisp and slightly grainy malt finish.
