Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’12. Brown with white head. Dry, malty bitter with an earthy back-note and twiggy type hop. Lasting bitterness on the palate but not overly exciting. It’s ok.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Alice BS. Pours a hazy nutty brown with a small, rough off-white head. Subtle roasty aroma with a little licorice. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet roast and some ddried dark fruits. Somewhat minerally. Distinct bitterness in the finish. Closer to a Mild than to a Bitter I’d say. 051011
