Sampled at Urban Chestnuts Wolpertinger - 1st anniversary - Poured clear amber with a beige head. The aroma had overly sweet malt (like cheap icing), raisins, citrus, stone fruits and juice - seemed a bit overboard and have to agree with Seymour that it had a fakeness to it. Medium body with semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts out with sweet oatmeal cookie aspects like the name says, but it is way too sweet for me. There are high amounts of raisins and nectarines. Fair.

Tasted at the 1st annual Urban Chestnut - Wolpertinger festival in St. Louis, MO, USA from tap into sampler beer boot. Poured a mostly clear reddish amber color with white foam, persistent with some lace. Aromas and flavors were indeed reminiscent of store-bought iced oatmeal cookies, chemical preservatives and all. Weird. Sharp carbonation, almost to the point of metallic, tart aftertaste. Glad I sampled it, but I don’t think I would drink a whole bottle or six-pack.
