Sample from beer fest. Pretty average beer. Poured a lighter amber color with a miniscal white head that was gone rather quick. Aroma was malts, grass and caramel. Flavor was very sweet malts, citrus, and bread. Thin and watery body. Not a whole lot going on with this beer. Average at best.

Sampled at Four Hands Lupulin Carnival 2012 - Pours bronze / amber with an off-white head. The aroma has toasty malt, nuttiness, candy and a bit of smoke. Medium body that’s a touch full for the style and semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma traits and then a big ol’ bunch of meaty smoky malt. Yuck. Finish is more of the same.

seymour (786) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Tasted at the 1st annual Urban Chestnut - Wolpertinger festival in St. Louis, MO, USA from tap into sampler beer boot. Poured a nice, clear, reddish amber color with moderate off-white foam. Aromas of earthy and resiny hops, malt, bread, fruity ale yeast esters. Fairly malty, but hops-forward flavor as well. Toasty, caramelly, faint roasted barley. A well-balanced microbrewed IPA. Light-medium body, strong carbonation, lasting bittersweet aftertaste. Recommended.

On tap- Served a dark amber color with a tan head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus, some fresh grain and a bit of caramel sweetness. Taste of fresh grain, some malt sweetness, very mild bitterness and a dry finish. Fairly light body, crisp and quite smooth. Nice balance. Easy drinker. Nice offering for the style. Worth a try.

It poured a dark amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was some grapefruit and some light caramel. The taste was some caramel with a light note of citrus. A very decent amber ale.
