Cask at Willow Walk 'spoons, Victoria. Pours a dark brown with a ruby edge and a thin slightly off white head. Not a big aroma, a little malt loaf in there. Medium body, medium carbonation. There's dark fruit, rum, light spice, coke, a little treacle, a hint of licorice, some cherry tartness. It's good.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival - Le Gothique, London. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, beige head. The aroma has tangy, semi-dark fruits and lightly toasted bread. Medium sweet flavor with some toffee, figs, bread, brown sugar, raisins. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light warmth in the finish with sticky toasted sugars, semi-dark fruits, berries. Very tasty. Nice.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask @ The Willow Walk, the drunken pensioner’s paradise. The pour’s a light reddish brown color with a tiny off-white head. The nose is light toasted brown bread, roasted malts. Hints of cocoa, maybe some vanilla. The taste is strangely fruity - full bruised plum, raisin, tangy red berry fruits. General toasted malts. Little chocolate or roasted malt flavors to speak of. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, I found the plum fruit flavors to be vulgar, poorly-integated. This beer feels a bit all over the place. Not one I’d return to quickly

Despite it?s really dark almost stout or porter appearance it?s surprisingly light. Fruity at first with chocolate smoothness later on. Slightly tangy fizz like bottled porter. Would drink again.
