Pint. clear gold with small white head. Aroma is. Simply hops and wheat. Taste is pretty much the same. Refreshing but not complex.

Cask by handpump at Counting House, Glasgow - clear golden, thick creamy off-white head, minimal malty aroma at serving temperature, initial biscuit malt flavour, sweet, creamy texture, very easy to drink

Minner fra en deilig sommer i West Somerset: Exmoor Gold fra cask på Stevens stemmningsfulle lokalpub. Smaksrik og behagelig. Må definitivt prøves igjen ved neste korsvei.

Cask at the Moon in the Square, Bournemouth. Clear, light amber pour, thin white head and some lace. This beer is malt all the way through with malt in the aroma and a caramel maltiness in the taste. There is almost no bitterness at all in this beer and one wonders what hops were used. This ale grew on me as it got warmer. I’d order it again!

Gold (!), no head; sweet caramel malt predominates; some citrus; a little bitterness in the otherwise sweet aftertaste; this example served at The Ox, Parkstone was perhaps not in the best condition - hints of vinegare; I’ve tasted many better golden ales this summer - this was unexciting.
