Cask handpull, The Crown and Sceptre, Babbacombe, Torquay, 06/09/14. Last stop before a thrashing at Plainmoor. Aroma of wicker chairs, pine cones and dusty carpets. Malt based weak cherry and almond taste lapsing into gnawed hay and malted milk biscuit. Perfectly decent but scant return for your ABV.

Cask at The Green Ginger, Torquay. Toffee flavoured, but not that rubbishy toffee flavour. Instead this was a burnt, slightly flinty toffee, roughed up by the smooth malts. Great body. Enjoyed this.
