on tap-pours a thin white head with yellow color. Aroma is earthy, musty, sulphur/sharpness, some light malt. Taste follows. [No banana, no clove]

(Sample Date: 7/24/2009 Source:Extra Billy’s) Pint at the brewery. Light banana clove spiciness. Cloudy light yellow straw with small white head. Grainy flavor with banana clove yeast character. Slightly oxidized notes. Finish is medium and slightly soapy. Bit too sweet and heavy for a hefe imho.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy pale orange tinted yellow color with a large head. Decent head retention and lacing. Very estery aroma with notes of banana and spice that combine into something reminiscent of perfume and nail polish. Weird. The taste is very similar... perfume, banana, clove. Thin bodied and watery.

Lightly hazed straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, some banana, clove. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, light banana, some sourness. Light body with some acidity.

Nice cloudy golden body with a light white head. Sweet wheat aroma. Tast is a light wheat and fruit. very little citrus. Lightly bitter ending.

Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Aroma of banana. Strong banana flavor with some light spice in the end.
