4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer was on the edge of a pale and an ipa. The hops were balanced with a nice malt backbone. Great aroma and taste. Overall a solid beer that made me want to try future beers from the new brewer they recently hired. If you have not been to Extra Billy’s or went in the past, it is time to give them another try as they are really upping their game in terms of the beer being produced.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
First beer done by the new head brewer at Extra Billy’s, Brandon Tolbert. Cheers to Brandon! I’m admittedly a bit biased here, but I think it is safe to say that this is the best beer offered by Extra Billy’s in many years. Growler sample. Poured a hazy golden yellow, decent but slight head. Aroma is a shot of hops - yes, actual hops in a beer from Extra Billy’s! Finally! Think grapefruit and grass., just what you would expect with the dry hopping. Flavor is a match. Medium bodied, just enough malt backbone to stand up behind the hops. A very nice, enjoyably hoppy APA. Absolutely delighted to try this. A very solid Intro. And cool, that was beer 2900!
