Clear copper body with off-white head. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, faint caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some peach, light roast, faint chocolate. Light-medium body.

on tap-pours a light tan head with copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-roasty. Taste is medium malt-roasty, spice hops. Dry finish. OK carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear amber with an average, creamy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, caramel, toasted), average hops (herbal, grassy), and average esters (fruity) with notes of dates, skunk, and sweaty socks. Flavor is average malt (bread, caramel, toasted), average hops (herbal, grassy), and average esters (fruity) with notes of dates, skunk, and sweaty socks. Light body, low warmth and creaminess, medium carbonation with a dry finish.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear brownish red color with a large head. Fair head retention and lacing. Lots of butter in the aroma along with faint tart fruits, light toast and caramel. Taste is nutty with faint grain and tart fruit notes. Thin bodied, slightly watery. Seems like this could be a bit infected. Either way, it’s just not a very good beer.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2009 On tap at the brewpub on 01/18/2009. Slightly hazy copper body with a small off-white head. Sweet malt aroma with some light hops and a touch of green apple. Sweet malt flavor with some green apple hints and light hops. Medium full body with moderate carbonation. 6/3/6/3/11 - 2.9 On tap at the brewpub on 10/04/2008. Dark brown body with ruby highlights and a small light brown head. Dark malt, caramel and brown sugar aroma. Sweet brown sugar and light nutty flavor. Medium full body with moderate carbonation. 6/3/5/4/11 - 2.9 09/05/2006: Clear red body with a small creamy white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Flavor of dark malt with some caramel. 5/3/7/3/12 - 3.0

Copper color, good head. No aroma whatsoever. Flavor is a bit thin, some bready notes, and a very faint citric hop bite at the finish. Almost metallic. Not spectacular.

Pefectly clear copper body (slightly tarnished penny). The aroma is slight and realy not worth mentioning. The flavor starts with a punch of caramel and graham crackers.

Shockoe festival Richmond VA-Draft: Caramel aroma. Amber color, no head. Weak taste of metallic cherries. Tinny finish.

Reddish brown color, clean and clear with no foam. Toffee and maple flavor. Silky texture, small bite. Really tastes like a desert beer. Makes me wann eat chocolate. Small amount of hops in the finish.
