COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Foam compact and moderately persistent, dark, feel the nose of orange peel, coriander, black pepper, grass ... Not overly exciting but tasty and fresh, medium body, a good bitter, and a good persistence .... A somewhat unusual for a Saison, but a good experiment you leave drink very well and is fresh ...

Bottle at Home - Shared with Mette. Clear dark dark brown - offwhite head. Roasted. Fruity. Peppery spicy. Sparkling. Burned malts. Citrus. Rather dry. Herbal notes. Nice.

Draft at Open Baladin Roma in Rome, Italy. Pours a dark brown, almost black color that’s completely opaque with a three finger pillowy beige head.  Great retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring.  Streaks of soapy lacing left behind. Complex aroma with roasted malt, zesty spice, farmhouse funk, bread and dark fruit.  Hints of chocolate, toffee, caramel and coffee bean but still vinous and earthy/funky. Medium bodied with a strange combination of roasted malt, zesty spice and farmhouse flavor that results in slightly herbal/medicinal feel.   Slightly syrupy with caramel and toffee sweetness along with pepper, earthy hops and barnyard farmhouse notes.  Really weird.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks troubles. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Light aroma with floral hops. Sweetish flavor, a bit roasty, with a bitter finish with some floral hops. Medium-bodied. Quite pleasant, but a bit too light in aroma and flavor.

Bottle. A hazy dark brown beer, with a huge, frothy, fully lasting off-white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), moderately hoppy (flowers, pine grapefruit), lightly to moderately yeasty (cobwebs) with notes of orange, pepper, grapes, perfume. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body. watery/velvety texture, fizzy carbonation, very long finish with moderatre to heavy bitterness. Very nice and rather complex, the dark and toasted/roasted malts become more apparent in the taste. Only slightlyt overcarbonated.
