COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Centesima cotta Extraomnes

Extraomnes 100th batch.
The color is very pale straw yellow, bright, with generous head.
The aroma links to the two noble hops used also as dry hopping: sweet orange from the Cascade and white flowers with a touch of tangy herbs from the Saaz.
The mouthfeel is very dry, thanks to the hard work of the Saison yeast.
In the palate the hops appear again, with a final of bitter herbs that reminds of the Saison brewed in Hainaut in the beginning of the 1900’s.

Saison magnifica, speziata, amara, secca, una coppa dura meno di un minuto... altro capolavoro di EO!

Bottle. A hazy pale to medium blonde beer, with a large, frothy, lacing, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (flowers, herns, grass, grapefruit), lightly to moderately yeasty (cobwebs/dust), with notes of orange, pepper. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, very dry and long finish with heavy bitterness. One of the most complex. refined, drinkable and satisfying sessio beers I’ve ever had. Worthy rival of Taras Boulba and all the best hoppy belgian pale ales/saisons.

13/07/2012 Open Baladin (tap). Dorata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca abbondante e molto persistente. Chapeau!

Draft a Birra Del Borgo day. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Nose is sweet spices, ginger and corriander. Bready with light pine. Taste is mostly bitter with a bit of sweet for balancing, yet bitter overcomes on the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, light body and a long dry finish. Refreshing.

330 ml bottle from beer-shop.it served into a Teku. Slightly hazy and pale canary yellow, with some green-ish/olive oil tinges and a bright white head. Light notes of citrus fruits, mainly mandarin, floral hops, white grapes and definitely a strong spicey saison yeast presence. Strong herbal bitterness in the mouth with a very pleasent and dry finish. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Clean, crisp, refreshing. Chapeau Schigi!

Draught at BQ via Losanna, Milan
Hazy golden color with creamy head. Very nice hop aroma, with delicate lemony touch, some grassy sweat, light cellar smell; Drie Fonteinen meets yuzu. Smooth mouthfeel, very dry; it has a sharp spicy character, some yeast, light citrus peel, and then a relatively strong bitterness.
Original and very good.

Tap @ BQ Milan. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is so nice, sweet spicy fruity yeasty tropical fruits slightly malty. Flavor as aroma toward the dry side with pleasant bitterness which goes well together with the other flavors; well in balance. Enjoyable, sessionable and very good.
