33 cl bottle vintage 2011 @ home. Batch #214 11, BBE 08/2016
Aroma has ripe fruits, apricot and alcohol. Foamy palate. Flavour has burning & warming alcohol, ripe fruits, apricot and some yeasty tones. Finishes with some spicy tones and more alcohol. Very Belgian, reminds me of some Bush beers. Alcohol clearly pushes through here but luckily most of it is of warming type.

2013 bottle, thanks heaps to mowbeer for bringing this back from rome. hazed golden with a fluffy head; some alcohol still showing in the aroma along with sweet bread dough; flavour of cinnamon rolls dunked in rum; quite agreeable

Reserva 2013. God alkoholfylde. Kort.

33cl bottle from my cellar (1 year and 2 months approximately). Pours a clear, amber coloured liquid, with a thin, off-white head. I can smell candies, apple pie, vanilla, honey and even some funk. Taste is mostly fruity, sweet, and mellow, you can detect just a little warming sensation (it?s 12% ABV but it doesn?t feel like it at all) with a slightly tart finish. Body is impressively thin, carbonation is soft.

33cl bottle. Pours light hazy amber with two fingers of light beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, candied sugar, sweet fruits (raisins, dates), some nuts and some yeast along with a light alcoholic note. Taste is similar with less sweetness, lots of fruity notes, some acidity, some alcohol again, spices. Medium body, light carbonation, very good long lasting sweet finish with only minimal bitterness. Excellent.

On tap at the Birre Sotto l'Albero festival in Rome-ITALY (Macche and Bir&Fud). Pours deep golden going amber with a compact white head. Complex nose: spices, aroma of incense. Mouth mirrors the nose with the addiction of some caramel. Great one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reserva 2013, 12%, bottle #3912, BB 31/08/2018, lotto# 231/13.

Pours hazy amber with very little in the way of head. Nose shows funky notes suggesting at acidity, a bit of sweet confectionery and some caramel and booze. Similar flavours, slight acidity, lots of confectionery-like sweetness and a fair bit of booze. Some candied fruit. Carbonation seems very low.

330 ml bottle from ArtigianBeer, served in a snifter glass. 2013 vintage, bottle n° 278. Deep sunrise orange, almost amber, with an average off-white head which dissipated leaving a nice and persistent thick ring of foam. Intense aroma, quite herbal/medicinal with notes of toffee, strawberry jam, sour black cherry, and diapers. Unused diapers, fortunately! Just a hint of booze, but nothing resembling the actual ABV. Quite complex in the mouth, revealing different layers of flavours each time. Definitely plums, dark fruits under spirits and baked apples. Alchoolic finish, with a pleasent warm down the throath, quite sweet and honey-like. Average carbonation, medium body and oily texture. A fantastic sipper.
