COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a deep amber with no head. Little to no Carbonation. Nose has dried cherries, oak, red wine and candied sugar. Taste is like a syrup mouth feel. Lots sour fruits, cherries and brown sugars. Booze is evident. Might be a fraction old. Couldn't finish this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy amber with a medium white head. Nose is yeast and apple, reminding me of Orval. In mouth some fruity aromas are quickly overwhelmed by a strange acidity with some spicy and peperry notes. Final is dry and sour, with a strange aftertaste that reminds me of... ham !? Weird stuff.

Pours dark amber with a lasting head. Nose shows brown sugar, confectionery, a gooseberry lambic note, horseblanket and lemon. Unorthodox and probably not intended but nice. Some of the funky notes transfer through as flavours but it’s more about the malt; very sweet with big confectionery sugar-like notes. Some booze but reasonably well-integrated. A bit too sweet. Could use a fair bit more carbonation.

0471272013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (330ml bottle). Ambrata scarica, abbastanza limpida, morbida schiuma pannosa, abbondante e persistente. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Non male! La versione Reserva ha qualcosa in più.

Following the style playbook. All about malts, spice and cinammon. A good drink for a northern hemisphere Christmas I’m tipping. Light touch in the back palate, surprisingly so given the abv of 10.2%.
