COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Huge white head over a cloudy orangebrown body. Banana, orange, yeast, fresh herbs. Not as spicy as expected. Interesting acidity dominates the taste, but it is balanced by some fruity hops. It does smell a little old or woody. Alcohol does wonders in this beer. Full mouthfeel. (33cl bottle bought at Bir&Fud)

multiple 33 cl bottles. After having one, I went and bought a bunch more. One of my favorite bottles saisons in Italy. Pours a light hazed blonde with a nice fluffy lasting white head and great lace. Aroma is of the dupont yeast- light spicy phenolics, hints of fruits, dry earthy tones, grass, modest toast and bready malt backbone, and light floral hops. Flavor is biscuit, dough, bread, grass, phenolic spices, more grass, light pepper, sea foam mineral and airy middle with med to high carbonation yet not prickly- light grassy soft bitterness in the end and very dry for a 7% saison. Very nice!

Bottle. A hazy medium blonde beer, with a huge, frothy, lacing, almost fully lasting white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted bread, cookies), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, grass), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough), with notes of pepper, banana and some other fruits. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly sour, lightly bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, dry long fiish with medium bitterness, very lightly alcoholic. Great yeasty saison, complex and balanced. Dupont oriented, but with a great character and lightly wheaty. Spicy, lightly hot. Want more.

Bottle at BeerDeLuxe. Yeasty beer, some balance from the malts is missing. Aromas of grain and bread. Taste is sweet and sour, with average length. Palate is creamy, highly carbonated, medium body. Orange, with a frothy head.

bottle and paired with lovely stinky soft cheese (Jasper Hill Moses sleeper, which is delicious, btw) - pours a hazy orange with a frothy white head and lacing that doesn’t give up. Nose is yeast with a touch of barnyard some sulfur and grassy notes - not in the in-your-face sewage sense, but a subtle softer way that works well to balance the sweet caramel malts and bitter pine. An earthy funk sticks to the tongue, with lots of fruits, apricots, pears and banana, soft yeasty phenols galore and hints of clove. The body is smooth and soft. Finish is soft and sweet with some dry spice and a bit of foam.

Bottle from Domus Birrae. Pours heavy orange tinged gold with a creamy white head. Aromas kof sour orange and yeast/spice. Med body. Pronounced barnyard flavor. There’s also citrus, spice and a lot of herby hop. But the barnyard is very strong. Finish seems on the sour side. Very good.
