Lys aprikosfarget. Litt uklar. Lett luftig skum med litt lacing. God plommearoma. Smaken litt krydder & hint av mandler. Avslutter tørt. Alkoholen skinner igjennom.

Recommended 330ml bottle, lotto 364, bought at Johnny’s Off License in Roma in April 2012. Partially gushing revealing a frothy white head with firm lacework. Cloudy golden body. Candied fruity smell. Sweet flavours of grapes and malts with a yeasty fruitiness beneath. Sweet fruity ending. Noticeable alcohol. Alright, too much on the sweet side though (shared with Finn, Tromsø 27.11.2013).

Murky orange light brown with no head. Malty and yeasty, some citrus fruits for aroma mixed with some caramel and burnt sugars. Great malt flavors, bitter sweet. Grapefruit on the background and a little sour aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden, comes up only after burping. Thin to medium bodied with a dry finish and reasonable carbonation. Very drinkable beer, lovely. Very tripel like.

Bottle @ Elfo’s Pub, Perugia, Italy. Pours with a dark amber, hazy colour, big frothy, off-white head. Aroma is moderately malty, little hoppy, with notes of citrus and herbs, heavy yeasty, with strong notes of cheese and notes of basement aromas; additional notes of alcohol, though it is well hidden. Taste is moderately sweet, moderately bitter, little sour, very little salty. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Straw yellow. Aroma is floral and something slightly artificial. Taste is tang of a tripel, booze and yeast. Not great in my opinion. Palate is sticky. Overall, nothing on their tripel.

Medium, rather stable yellowish head, some lace, over unclear ochrish-thinted orange beer, finishing in solid yeast. Light coffeeish onset, followed by bit harsh vegetable hops, herbal. Hint of stale cookies, too. Other grains, oatmeal cookies, alcohol, white candi sugar, lighlty coloured malts. Quite dry, at least to some extent. More oxydation warming up. Quite carbonated MF, slick, medium bodied. I’m not really over the moon. Partly succeed Duvelclone, if not colourwise? Wonder if this strange stale-ish taste is a yeast fieature? Not one to drink chambrée by any means.

Bottled 0,33L Hazy and charged light orange color, incredible voluminous and persistant head duration. Aged flowery and aged stum notes, cask, cellar, white grapes. Elevated alcoholic perception, good fraught body with a sweet long final.
