COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a hazy yellow with a massive head. Over carbonated. Aromas of cloves, lemon zest and spices. Taste has a doughy zesty up front flavour. Quite sweet and tart. The sweetness hides The booze. Sitting on 9.2%. Mild citrus in the finish with a mild bitterness. Goes down well for the high alcohol percentage ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Opened with a geyser of foam, then poured with a massive head. Nose shows heavy spicy phenols, Belgian doughy yeast notes, soft light malt and very faint pear. Flavours include sharp, solvent-like booze, doughy yeast and light sweet malt. Excessively carbonated and too much booze.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a large white head that fades to a coat. Aroma of dough, lemon pudding, vanilla, oranges, cloves. Sweet with pungent spices. Some stone fruits, candi sugar, tangy lemon, vanilla, nutmeg, white pepper. No overt alcohol. Near enough to Dulle Teve meets Avec les Bon Voeux. Very nice indeed.

Tasted from bottle into a rocks glass at the Royale gathering, thanks Will! A little-known Italian beer described as being similar to the De Dolle Belgian yeast strain. Translation = delicious. It poured a cloudy golden color with lasting white foam, nice lace. Aromas and flavors of freshly-cut grass, husky grains, some marshmallowy pils malt, rising dough, freshly-baked French bread, slight flowery/spicy hops (Saaz?), and subdued but complex Belgian yeast characteristics: vanilla, black pepper, bubble gum, clove, compost, over-ripe apricots, herbal tea tannins. 9.5% alcohol but very well-hidden. Light-medium body, strong carbonation, simultaneously smooth and grainy mouthfeel, some nice mineral water hardness. Long-lasting, multi-layered aftertaste. Unpretentious yet amazingly good.

Bottle. A hzy dark blonde beer, with a gigantic, frothy, almost fully lasting, white head. The aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread/grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough), with notes of peach, pepper, alcohol, candy sugar. The flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium to full body, velvety, lightly sticky texture, lively carbonation, long finish with moderate bitterness, moderately alcoholic. Above the average in every department, just very short of the excellence that is particularly proper to the Blond, but also Zest and Saison. Anyawy quite complex and challenging, with the correct amount of alcoholic feel.

Aroma fruttato di albicocca e mele, con sentori di lievito, spezie e una gradevole nota di tiglio. In bocca secca, equilibrata, avvolgente.
