On tap at Moeder Lambic. Wow. Bold gold body with puffy head. Taste is sweet, fruity and strong. Really nice Belgian style. Well done. Sweet and warming in the finish.

Orangée, col épais blanc.
Arôme houblonné, levure belge, fruité sur qcq esters d’abbaye.
En bouche, profile épais, belge restant assez douce et une levure rajoutant des notes épicées en fin de bouche. Pas mauvaise, mais on retrouve là le profile typique des bières belges, donc en fait, l’intérêt de goûter des italiennes s’en retrouve diminué.

Sono un amante delle tripel del belgio, questa ne sembra una ottima versione nostrana, che rimane un po’ più amara del normale in bocca nonostante sia perlopiù dolce di carattere. Ci ritrovo dentro tutto, la speziatura e il fruttato tipico del genere e quei sentori di crosta di pane e banana.

Draught at Ma Che. Estery nose, grassy, with peach, cereals. Flavor of stewed apricots, a bit of honey and mango, and peppery hops. Thick and heavy. Glowing Apricot color. A classic tripel, rich, estery, hoppy. Well done.

Tasted at ItaliaBeerFestival Milan on March 10th. I expected more bitterness from a "triple": for me it’s a little sweet. Its colour doesn’t excite me so much. I don’t want to say that this "triple" is a bad beer! But I expected something different.

On tap at Bir&Fud. Very hazy amber beer. Big white head. Softish smooth palate. Creamy sweet malt. Typical tripel aromatics but this one is really smooth and well done. Semi dry finish. Nice tripel.

ITALIA BEER FESTIVAL 2012 classica tripel che pero maschera bene la sua alta gradazione. cappello di schiuma abbastanza persistente sotto un bel corpo arancio. Amaro non invadente e sapore fruttato. Buona

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 In bottiglia. Denso colore dorato con una bianca schiuma cremosa e persistente. Aroma di fiori e caramello, l’alcool è leggermente speziato al naso. Il gusto è mediamente dolce con un buon bilancio tra frutti e luppoli: inizia con note di agrumi (principalmente arancia) e cereali ed evolve verso un finale netto e amaro, l’abv non è soverchiante. Ottima al palato, calda e avvolgente con una struttura cremosa. Una tripel fantastica, una delle mie preferite.
