At a great tasting in Vranovo-Serbia, with markoijelena and cika Boban. Bottle. Pours completely cloudy golden color, medium white head with retention. Nose: remarkably floral, apple skin, yeasty. Mouth: perfect carbonation, slightly sour, herbal and spicy, dry as it has to be. Fresh and talking to white wines.

Bottle dated January 2015. Yeast shows some resemblance to the De Ranke strain with it’s perfume-floral quality and a distinct cork and concrete note. Malt in the nose and mouth is sugary / pastry-like, honey-ish, sweet in the mouth with low bitterness. Fine natural carbonation from bottle conditioning present the beer in a similar was as authentic Belgian golden / tripel, though at under 6% it doesn’t carry the weight of tripel. Overall it’s drinkable and enjoyable, though the malt is a little simple and plain, and the sweetness a tad too strong for my tastes.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with a beautiful white head. Aroma is rustic with yeasts and spices along some vegetal notes. Taste is light malts, some citrusy acidity, yeasts and spices again followed by some herbaceous bitterness. Dry finish, watery texture, medium body, light to medium carbonation. Excellent saison.

Bottle @ Tric & Trac legnano. Giallo dorato, velata/oplaescente. Schiuma bianca fine molto persistente.

Aroma is really citrusy and maybe less citrus at taste. Taste is rich, grainy, citrusy. Mouthfeel is very good with a somewhat high carb that donates a bubbly texture over the creamy body. Dry finish with hints of bitter and spices.
