Bottle from Beerbikers Svoger, my evil stepdad.
Clear brown with medium white head. Aroma of mild sweetmalts some caramel and some mild toasted notes. Flavor is again sweet malty with some fruity notes and a grassy hob bitterness.

Aug 13, 2008 Bottle at Ealing beer fest. I was told this was a marzen, but its colour would infact say(as the site does) that this is a dunkel. Very malty, bready, small chocolate note, caramel, earthy german hop. Taste is similar, quite rich and not the easiest to drink, but quite good.

Dark copper colour. Fresh malty aroma with bit of hops sensed. Solid, bready maltiness with hop presence and slight caramel touch. A very clean and tasty beer.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Clear amber-brown with a white head. Aroma of toasted malt, some caramel and some bready notes. Sweetish malty flavor with some toasted bread, caramel and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Fassla, Bamberg. Chestnut brown with white head. Another malt dominated, sweetish beer but this time with a darker roasted character. Fruity and smooth with hints of caramel. It’s ok.
