Relativ wenig Schaum, aber schöne Farbe. Deutlich hopfig, aber beim Füchschen ist viel deutlicher Malz und etwas Röstmalz zu spüren, als beim Uerigen. Sehr vollmundig und gut ausgewogen. Tolles Alt!

Aug 9, 2008 Bottle at GBBF 08. Clear amber with hops and alcohol on the nose. Deep malty character backed up by a full bodied palate. Decent balance too.

Aug 8, 2008 Bottled. Aroma is wooden, hoppy and a bit earthy. Amber oclour, small white head. Flavour is wood, saltwater, some hops and mild notes of leatheryness.
