VeloVampire (375), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 14, 2008 Cask sample at the Victory - poured like a mahogany lacquer with a small, bubbly white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some twiggy hops, hazelnut and cocoa. Medium, slightly gravelly body. Flavours of sweet nuttiness and cream. Good beer. mabel (1246), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 29, 2007 [620-20070916] Sample @ Feast of Fields (Hillsburgh, ON). Dark fruity plum aroma with hint of sweet grain and a malt background. Clear, amber brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Dark bread yeast grains flavour. Medium-full body is a little raspy. Quite nice. Pint_Pilgrim (15), Ontario, Canada Oct 3, 2007 Bottle - 341ml (drove to Guelph to buy) pours dark copper with an average off white head. smell of caramel and biscuit. decent body, not too thin though find it needs to be lower in carbonation. good patio beer, much better than your staple beerstore brands. hope distribution takes off for this one. Bobsy (196), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 16, 2007 Updated: Jan 12, 2008Draught at C’est What? Deep amber colouration to the body with a small off-white head.
