On tap at Volo - came a dark brown, maybe black, hard to tell in the low light. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, a little hit of soy sauce. Flavour quite nice, with roast and sweet malt co-mingling to create a balanced, drinkable stout. Very moreish. Thick body, but not too dense as to be overpowering, just very satisfying. Medium bitter chocolate/roasted finish. Certainly the best beer I’ve had from F & M. Nice work, George!
